Former heavyweight (over 90,7 kg) champion Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) spoke about a potential match with Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs).
"Let's go, 110 percent. I think if he comes out and looks good, it kind of reignites that flame he had.
Boxing is about perception. You can look bad in one fight but come out in the next one and look good. Then everyone will say, 'Yes, he's back.' Whoever His Excellency wants, I'm ready," Joshua told John Jackson from talkSPORT.
Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder were preparing an agreement for a fight that was supposed to take place in March, however, last December, the 'Bronze Bomber' was defeated by the 'temporary' WBO champion Joseph Parker (35-3, 23 KOs). AJ met Francis Ngannou (0-2) and annihilated his opponent in the second round.
Wilder's next opponent will be Chinese boxer Zhang Zhilei (26-2-1, 21 KOs) on June 1st in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
