British former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) explained why he believes he has the power to defeat the current WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) by knockout.
"If I put Fury on his back, I would not let him get back into the fight. Fury and I are completely different beasts. Genetically, strength, mindset. I boxed with Fury in an amateur tournament when it was held in Finchley. I've always been on a different trajectory than Fury. He has done well, very well indeed. But give me a chance to fight Fury, and I'll show you what I mean," Joshua stated.
Anthony's next fight is scheduled for March 8th in Saudi Arabia against Francis Ngannou. Fury's next fight will take place on May 18th against Oleksandr Usyk. According to promoter Eddie Hearn, the winners of these bouts could potentially meet.
