Joshua-Dubois Undercard: Ukrainian Fighter Possible

On September 21st, at Wembley Stadium in London, UK, a British showdown will take place between former champion Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) and IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs).

The trainer of Ukrainian heavyweight Vladyslav Sirenko (21-0, 18 KOs), James Ali Bashir, revealed that his fighter might have his next bout on the undercard of the Joshua-Dubois event.

"Vlad is training right now, preparing. We expect the next fight to take place on the undercard of Joshua versus Dubois. We don’t know who the opponent will be yet. We don't have an opponent, but management told us to prepare as we will most likely be on this card," said the trainer.

Previously, James mentioned that Sirenko was supposed to face Andy Ruiz (35-2, 22 KOs), but the deal fell through, and the American will now face compatriot Jarrell Miller (26-1-1, 22 KOs) on August 3rd in Los Angeles, USA.

On June 4th, Vladyslav Sirenko defeated Keith Barr (21-16-1, 8 KOs) by technical knockout in the 4th round. This marked the Ukrainian’s fifth consecutive early victory.
