Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs), following his victory over Francis Ngannou (0-2, 0 KOs), practically dismissed comments regarding WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs).
– Tyson Fury was in the front row, applauding, I was told. I didn't see it, but he applauded your victory, after which I spoke to him. He said he expected you to do that today. Did you look at him when he was sitting by the ring?
– F##k up Tyson Fury.
– Alright, you don't want to talk about it.
– No, I was going to say, I don't like people who use trash talk, but I heard him say, 'I'm here to comment on two sausages' or something like that. Dude, this guy I fought, and he fought, is a former UFC heavyweight champion, an incredible story. He changed his life. And Fury just shows a lot of disrespect, so forget about him now, said Joshua.
On March 8th, Joshua knocked out Francis Ngannou in the second round. Tyson Fury also fought against Ngannou – winning by a decision.
