Joshua Demolishes Ngannou: Main Statistics

On March 8th, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a fight took place between Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) and Francis Ngannou (0-2, 0 KOs). Already in the first round, Joshua sent his opponent to the canvas with a knockdown. In the second, the Brit finished the confrontation by sending his opponent to a second knockdown, then followed up with a decisive blow.

This victory marks Joshua's fourth win in the last 11 months and his third consecutive early victory.

What's Next?

Joshua is the main contender for the winner of the Usyk-Fury pair. Fury himself mentions it, and importantly, the event organizer in Saudi Arabia, Turki Al al-Sheikh, expressed a desire to make such a confrontation happen. However, how soon it can be organized remains a mystery, as Usyk and Fury have a clause for a possible rematch in their contract.
