Joshua Names List of Opponents

Former heavyweight (over 90,7 kg) champion Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) announced that his next fight is scheduled for September 20-21 at Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom.

His opponent will be the winner of the fight between Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs) and Zhilei Zhang (26-2-1, 21 KOs), or Filip Hrgovic (17-0, 14 KOs) against Daniel Dubois (20-2, 19 KOs), who will compete on June 1 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

"Every time they tell me there's a date, you know I'll be 100 percent ready. It's going to be in London, at Wembley Stadium. That's what they tell me. If they say so, and they usually keep their word, let's go with that – Wembley, September 20 or 21.

On June 1 in Saudi Arabia, they are organizing a 5 vs 5 tournament (Matchroom versus Queensberry). There’s Filip Hrgovic against Daniel Dubois, Zhilei Zhang against Deontay Wilder. His Excellency Turki Al al-Sheikh told me, 'I want you to fight whoever looks the best.'

He's trying to deliver what the fans want – I know they want a big fight with Tyson Fury, and he's working on that. But Fury has obligations with Oleksandr Usyk, so I need to make sure I stay focused and disciplined, keep defeating opponents, so I can get closer and closer to a chance to face Tyson Fury," Joshua told John Jackson from talkSPORT.

On March 8th, Anthony Joshua knocked out Francis Ngannou (0-2) in the second round.

WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) will meet the holder of the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) on May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The fight will be for the undisputed world heavyweight title.
