Former UFC bantamweight champ Josh Taylor opens up about his career's rough patch and his 2024 game plan:
"Looking to jump back in the ring two or three times this year. Aiming for a March or April comeback, followed by a summer scrap, and then one more before the year wraps up.
I'm itching to be back in action. Three bouts in three years? It was frustrating for the fans and me due to the pandemic. After my showdown with Regis Prograis, everything took a nosedive just as I hit my stride.
This year's goal? Three fights and reclaiming my world titles," Taylor shared.
In June 2023, Taylor lost his WBO title to Teofimo Lopez in a judges' verdict. Earlier, he had relinquished other belts by choice or organizational decisions.
