Interim WBO Heavyweight champion Joseph Parker shared his thoughts on a potential fight with undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk.
“Usyk is a top‑level boxer and a very skilled operator. He’s got excellent boxing IQ. You’ve got to press him and match his punch output.
He throws a lot, so you need to be very durable, superbly conditioned, and able to keep the pace from the first to the last round,” Parker said.
In February, Joseph Parker (36‑3, 24 KOs) stopped Martin Bakole in round two. On 19 July, Oleksandr Usyk (24‑0, 15 KOs) knocked out Daniel Dubois in the fifth to become the undisputed heavyweight champion.
