Golden Boy Promotions' New Boxer Officially Revealed

It has been officially announced that American boxer Jose Carlos Ramirez is the latest addition to the roster of Golden Boy Promotions.

Ramirez, a participant in the world championship in Baku among amateurs, faced Vasily Lomachenko and competed in the 2012 Olympics, where he exited the medal race in the second bout. In the professional ranks, Ramirez held the world championship from 2018 to 2021 and in 2019 became the unified champion in the WBO and WBC versions in the super lightweight division (up to 63.5 kg). His only loss occurred in 2021 in a fight against Josh Taylor for undisputed championship status.

In 2023, Jose Carlos had one bout, securing a victory by knockout in the 11th round against Richard Commey.
