Jones Wouldn't Want to See Fury Lose

In an interview with Boxing Social, former champion in four weight categories, Roy Jones Jr., shared his thoughts on a potential fight between WBC heavyweight champion (over 200 lbs) Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs).

"We all want to see this fight. I wouldn’t want the Fury vs. Usyk match to happen before that because I don’t want there to be a chance of Tyson losing to Oleksandr before his fight with Joshua.

I think Tyson understands this now, so he will return in his best form. And I don’t think Usyk can beat him due to the size difference. However, if Usyk beats Tyson, the world will still want to see him against Joshua," said Roy.

On March 8th, Anthony Joshua knocked out Francis Ngannou (0-2) in the second round.

On May 18th, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Tyson Fury will fight for the title of the undisputed heavyweight world champion against the holder of the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs).
