Former champion in 4 divisions, Roy Jones Jr., shared his expectations for the fight for the undisputed heavyweight world champion title (over 90.7 kg) between the holder of the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), and WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs).
"Usyk is a great tactician, but he's not explosive. If he were explosive, it would be a problem. When you're smaller in size, against bigger guys you have to bring explosiveness to the ring; otherwise, they won't respect you.
If he can't find that explosiveness before the fight starts, he won't beat Tyson Fury, and I don't care what people say about it.
Tyson Fury didn't take Ngannou seriously, and he didn't look the way he was supposed to look against Ngannou, but he's still Tyson Fury, and he will definitely take Usyk seriously," Roy Jones Jr. stated on talkSPORT Drive.
The fight for the undisputed heavyweight world championship between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury is scheduled for May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
