UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones shared his expectations for the boxing match between Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) and Francis Ngannou (0-1, 0 KOs).
"I'm servering for Francis simply because of what he had to go through, how far he has come in life, and because he is a fellow mixed martial arts master like me.
How can you not server for Francis? He is a wonderful, straightforward person. But Anthony Joshua has been boxing since he was a child, and I'm one of those guys who gives respect where it's due.
I don't like to gamble, but if I had to put my money on one of them, I would choose Anthony Joshua. Sorry, Francis," Jones said.
The fight between Ngannou and Joshua is scheduled for March 8. Before switching to boxing and terminating his contract with the UFC, the fight between Jones and Ngannou was the most discussed, but they could not reach an agreement.
