Johnny Nelson named his favorite in the fight between Usyk and Fury

Johnny Nelson, the former world number one heavyweight champion, has revealed his choice for the highly anticipated unification bout between Tyson Fury, the reigning WBC heavyweight champion, and Oleksandr Usyk, the holder of the WBO, WBA, IBF, and IBO titles.

"I think it's a great fight. I'm leaning towards Fury being too big for Usyk in terms of size. I think it will work in his favor. Fury's orthodox style will clash with Usyk's unconventional style, but Oleksandr's boxing is much more fluid."

"However, I'm leaning towards Fury in this fight. Let's get excited about this fight when they really agree, sign the contract, and are ready to host it," Nelson stated.

According to Alex Krassyuk, Usyk's promoter, he expresses optimism in the swift completion of the contract for the unification fight between Usyk and Fury. However, the Ukrainian side insists on an equal distribution of income, with a "50:50" split since Usyk holds three championship titles compared to Tyson's one.

The much-anticipated face-off between Fury and Usyk is set to determine the absolute world champion on April 29 at Wembley Stadium in London. Fury's promoters are urging Usyk to agree to the London venue, as the Jeddah Stadium in Saudi Arabia will not be completed in time for the fight.
