Johnny Fisher Edges Out David Allen in a Close Fight

On December 21 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a British heavyweight clash (over 90.7 kg) took place between Johnny Fisher (13-0, 11 KOs) and David Allen (23-7-2, 18 KOs) for the WBA Inter-Continental title.

The fight ended with Fisher securing a split-decision victory. The judges scored the bout 95-94 (Fisher), 96-93 (Allen), and 95-94 (Fisher).

In July, Johnny Fisher stopped Alen Babic with a first-round TKO, while David Allen earned a decision victory over Amin Boucetta that same month.
