John Fury on Tyson: "What the Hell Is Wrong with Him?"

John Fury, father and trainer of WBC super heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs), commented on the upcoming bout between Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) and former undisputed champion Mike Tyson.

"I'm the same age as him. What the hell is wrong with him, right? Even His Excellency Turks said he was shocked that Tyson didn’t want to fight me. I'm shocked myself. But here’s what I'll tell you, I must be there—I am the father of the Gypsy King.

He’s going to fight a middleweight instead of facing me. But I'm ready to fight anyone, it doesn't bother me. Pay me, pay me what I'm worth.

I could get killed, right? But I'm ready to risk my life for the right fight. The right fight is him, Mike Tyson," said John Fury.

John Fury has repeatedly called on Mike Tyson to step into the ring, including personally when they met in Saudi Arabia during his other son Tommy’s fight against Jake Paul.

The bout between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will take place on July 20th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be streamed on Netflix.
