John Fury on Son's Nutritionist: "He Did Us a Favor"

In an interview with the YouTube channel Seconds Out, John Fury, the father of WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KO), dispelled rumors that the nutritionist had been leaking information about Tyson.

Johnny Nelson said he has people inside Tyson's camp. Spencer Brown mentioned he was thinking about the wrong things happening in Tyson's camp and promised to name the one who was leaking information. A YouTube channel named this person. What do you think about it? In your opinion, does Tyson need to review his team?

I know this guy; we've worked with him and Tommy. He did us a favor when we brought him in for the last 15 days of the training camp, at a time when things were looking bleak. The person before him was a complete amateur. He almost ruined Tommy's training camp for the fight against KSI. Then this guy came along and changed everything.

So, you know, I can only say one thing: I think it's all complete nonsense, he's a good guy. You know, he's been through a lot himself. And in the end, people may point fingers at someone else. It's not him, it's absolute rubbish, he's a good guy.

I can speak to what I know, I don't know him personally, I know him through his work in nutrition, he does his job well, so yes, I hope he gets plenty of work. Everything else is nonsense.

The fight for the undisputed heavyweight world title (over 90,7 kg) between Tyson Fury and the holder of the WBO, WBA, IBO, and IBF titles, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), will take place on May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
