British heavyweight contender Joe Joyce (16-3, 15 KOs) has promised to stop Croatian rival Filip Hrgović (17-1, 14 KOs) when they meet on April 5 in Manchester, UK.
“Hrgović is a good fight. It’s the main event of a big boxing night. I want to beat him. I’m going to knock him out and look good doing it. After that, a lot of big fights could open up.
You know, I’ve made a lot of changes and learned a lot. It’s been an exciting career — full of ups and downs and all kinds of experiences,” said Joyce.
Hrgović stepped in to replace Dillian Whyte, who was forced to withdraw due to an injury suffered in training.
