British heavyweight Joe Joyce (16-3, 15 KOs) shared his thoughts on the upcoming clash between IBF titleholder Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) and interim WBO champion Joseph Parker (35-3, 23 KOs).
"This is a good fight, and I’m looking forward to it. After that, I might face the winner. There’s a title on the line, so I’m ready to return to big fights.
Can I beat Dubois again? We’ll see. Yes, he impressed me in his fight with Joshua. I thought Joshua was a bit too open, but it turned into a real shootout, and Dubois came out on top. But enough about them—I still have a lot to offer this sport and can deliver many exciting nights. That’s why I’m excited to keep going.
It’s shaping up to be a great year. I need to focus on my next fight, start the year strong, and then set my sights on other challenges," Joyce said.
Joyce previously faced Dubois in November 2020, winning by knockout in the 10th round. He also fought Parker in September 2022, where Parker knocked him out in the 11th round.
Joyce’s next bout, against an as-yet-unnamed opponent, is scheduled for March 1.
The fight between Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker will take place on February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
