Jesse Rodriguez to Debut in New Division in June

According to insider Mike Coppinger, WBO and IBF light flyweight champion Jesse Rodriguez (18-0, 11 KOs) is set to face off this summer against WBC super flyweight (up to 52,2 kg) champion Juan Francisco Estrada (44-3, 28 KOs). The teams of both boxers are finalizing the agreement for the fight.

The bout is slated for June 29th in Glendale, Arizona. Estrada's super flyweight title will be up for grabs.

In 2023, Jesse unified the titles in the light flyweight division with an early victory over Sunny Edwards. Estrada has not fought since 2022, when he won by decision against Roman Gonzalez.
