WBC super flyweight champion Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez (21-0, 14 KOs) has shared his timeline and motivation for eventually moving up in weight.
“I think one or two more fights — then I’ll move up. If there’s an opportunity to become undisputed, I’d love to do it. It’s not that hard — maybe there will be just one or two more fights after that, so we’ll see how it plays out,” Rodriguez said.
Rodriguez recently also expressed interest in a potential fight in Japan against Naoya Inoue.
His next bout is scheduled for July 19, when he’ll face WBO champion Phumelele Cafu in a unification clash.
