Jeff Mayweather, the esteemed American coach, recently expressed his thoughts on the highly anticipated lightweight world championship bout between Devin Haney and Vasyl Lomachenko.
The renowned trainer believes that the American boxer will emerge victorious in the title fight.
"Haney is going to win this fight. It's basically the same situation that Lomachenko was in with Teofimo Lopez. I mean, Devin is too big for him, and as a boxer he's even better than Teofimo. Basically, Devin is going to beat you from the outside. And I don't see how Lomachenko will beat him, because Devin is big, he's very big for this weight class."
"It's funny that Lomachenko is supposedly the master boxer. But I think on this night, Devin is the one that is going to come out as the master boxer," Mayweather shared in an interview with the YouTube channel FightHype.com.
As a reminder, the showdown between Devin Haney and Vasyl Lomachenko is scheduled for May 20th in Las Vegas.
