No Longer Champion: Jaron Ennis Vacates IBF and WBA Titles

American boxer Jaron Ennis has officially vacated his IBF and WBA Welterweight titles, as confirmed by the fighter himself on social media.

Earlier this year, Ennis became unified champion by adding the WBA belt to his IBF title with a dominant win over Eimantas Stanionis.

Following that victory, Ennis’s promoter Eddie Hearn revealed that both the fighter’s team and medical staff supported his decision to move up to Super Welterweight.
