Jaron Ennis to fight on October 11

A fight has been announced between American Jaron Ennis (34-0, 30 KOs) and Angola’s Uisma Lima (14-1, 10 KOs), the reigning IBO World Champion in the Super Welterweight division (up to 69.9 kg).

The bout will take place on October 11 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

Ennis last fought in April, when he unified the WBA and IBF Welterweight titles by stopping Eimantas Stanionis. Shortly afterward, the American vacated the belts and moved up to the Super Welterweight division.

In May, Uisma Lima defeated Shervantaigh Koopman via ninth-round TKO, making the first defense of his title.
