Jaron Ennis on Changing Divisions: “It’s Ten Times Better”

Jaron Ennis, the WBA Interim champion at Super Welterweight, shared his thoughts on moving up from Welterweight and explained how the transition has affected his physical condition and training camp.

“It’s ten times better. I felt much stronger throughout the entire camp.

During the last week of preparation, I had a lot of energy. I could have sparred right up until fight day. I think I made the right move at the perfect moment. I feel great — absolutely incredible,” said Ennis.

On October 11, Jaron Ennis (35-0, 31 KOs) made a dominant debut in the new division, stopping Whisma Lima via first-round TKO.
