Jaron Ennis has a potential opponent and has a message for Crawford: 'Come get the belt!'

The new IBF World Champion in the welterweight division, Jaron Ennis (31-0, 28 KOs), gave an interview revealing details about his next fight, reminiscing about Spence, and addressing Crawford.

Possible next opponent: Mario Barrios

Temporary WBC champion in the welterweight division, Mario Barrios (28-2, 18 KOs), is a likely opponent for Ennis in February. Ennis also expressed dissatisfaction with how he obtained the title:

"I wanted to win the IBF belt in the ring, wanted to face Spence, and after his defeat – Crawford. But it's boxing. Politics get in the way."

Confident that Spence and Crawford will take notice

"The fight I want is with Crawford. I also wanted a bout with Spence. Everyone knows this. I will keep talking about it until I get my opportunity. It's my time. I feel like the best fighter in the world. I'm ready to showcase my skills and shut these guys up. They need to pay attention to me," said Ennis.

Addressing Terence Crawford:

"Come for your title if you consider yourself the best in the world," stated Ennis.

Previously, the IBF stripped Terence Crawford of the title he won in the summer against Errol Spence, giving it to Jaron Ennis, who was the mandatory challenger at that time.
