American Super Welterweight Jaron Ennis has extended his contract with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing.
“Working with Eddie and Matchroom is the perfect combination. I love that they’ll do whatever it takes to make me a superstar! I’m ready to debut at my new weight, I’m hunting big names and belts. Time to silence everyone!”
Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn welcomed the new agreement and outlined his expectations:
“I’m delighted Jaron has tied his future to Matchroom and DAZN. Since we teamed up in April, we’ve shown that Ennis is one of the few U.S. fighters who can pack big arenas. Across three events we drew over 30,000 fans—not even counting DAZN’s audience. I can’t wait to see ‘Boots’ go hunting at Super Welterweight (69.9 kg)—that’s where you’ll see a real beast in full force.”
Jaron Ennis (34‑0, 30 KOs) signed with Matchroom in April 2024 and has gone 3‑0 under their banner: a July RTD‑5 over David Avanesyan, a November UD‑12 against Karen Chukhadzhian, and an April 2025 RTD‑6 unification of the IBF and WBA Welterweight titles versus Eimantas Stanionis. After that, the 28‑year‑old American elected to move up to Super Welterweight (up to 69.9 kg).
