Janibek calls on Turki over Adames fight

WBO and IBF Middleweight champion Janibek Alimkhanuly has reached out to Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority chairman Turki Alalshikh regarding a unification bout with WBC titleholder Carlos Adames.

"Maybe we should offer him the fight again? I’m sure this time he’ll gladly and happily accept your offer! I’ll be ready on November 22! Inshallah, in November I’ll have my third belt, and in May I’ll be fighting for the fourth! Undisputed champion," Janibek wrote.

In April, Alimkhanuly (17-0, 12 KOs) stopped Anauel Ngamissengue in the fifth round. Adames (24-1-1, 18 KOs) last fought in February against Hamzah Sheeraz, with their bout ending in a split draw.
