Influencer‑turned‑heavyweight boxer Jake Paul says he’s eager to fight former unified champion Anthony Joshua at London’s legendary Wembley Stadium.
“I badly want to fight at Wembley. I want to walk straight into the lion’s den, hear the crowd chant ‘F*** Jake Paul,’ and knock someone out just like Usyk did tonight.
We’ll see how things play out, but I’m confident in myself.
And that someone is Anthony Joshua. Tyson Fury put up a million pounds that I’d knock Joshua out? I’ll put ten times more — $10 million on myself against Joshua. Easy work. I believe in me.
Tyson Fury’s a smart guy. People think he’s just talking nonsense, but Joshua’s chin is weak. This fight will definitely happen,” Paul said.
On 28 June Jake Paul (12‑1, 7 KOs) outpointed Julio César Chávez Jr. by unanimous decision.
Anthony Joshua (28‑4, 25 KOs) last fought in September, when he was knocked out in round five by Daniel Dubois. The Briton underwent elbow surgery in May and is expected back in the ring in November–December 2025.
For the record, on 19 July Oleksandr Usyk (24‑0, 15 KOs) stopped Dubois (22‑3, 21 KOs) in the fifth round at Wembley to become the undisputed heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg).
