According to The Ring, American influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs) will take on former world champion Julio César Chávez Jr. (54-6-1, 34 KOs) in a bout scheduled for this summer.
The fight will be held in the cruiserweight division (up to 90.7 kg). Unlike Paul’s last outing — a high-profile match against Mike Tyson broadcast on Netflix — this event will not be streamed on the platform.
Paul defeated Tyson by unanimous decision in that bout.
The 39-year-old Chávez Jr. last fought in July, scoring a unanimous decision win over former UFC fighter Uriah Hall.
