Internet sensation Jake Paul (7-1, 4 KOs) is lacing up for a rumble with pro boxer Andre August (10-1, 5 KOs) this coming December 15 in Orlando, USA. The bout, a heavyweight clash set for 8 rounds, will be streaming live on DAZN.
Paul, fresh from an August victory over Nate Diaz, is stepping back into the ring to face a fighter with a history of hand-raising moments:
Andre August, 35, is a thrice-crowned champ in the Golden Gloves arena.
He's riding a victory wave of five straight wins, with his last defeat dating back to 2018 via knockout.
Packing more punch power, August boasts more KOs than any of Paul's past opponents.
Coming off a win against the previously unbeaten Brandon Martin (7-0).
Andre speaks with his fists and has a knockout message for Jake:
"Talk is cheap, and I let my fists do the chatting. Jake's got the cash and clout but never tasted real skill. When that bell dings, it's go-time, and I'm sending him packing back to the land of likes and shares," August promises.
On the flip side, Jake Paul is eyeing the bigger picture:
"I'm in the fight game for the long haul, aiming for that championship belt. I've duked it out on pay-per-view, but now it's more than just the showbiz bucks. It's about proving my mettle against seasoned vets of the ring. Catch my quest for boxing glory as I show the world what I'm made of, live on DAZN come December 15," asserts Paul.
