Jake’s Promoter: “Our Lawyers Are Actively Pursuing a Number of People”

The promoter for American boxer Jake Paul, Nakisa Bidarian, has shared details regarding the legal actions their company is taking against individuals who claimed the bout between his fighter and Anthony Joshua was staged.

“Our lawyers are actively going after a number of people, including one who claims to be a lawyer himself online. It was a post that gained approximately 200,000 likes.

That post claimed there was an agreement that Anthony was not supposed to knock Jake out, but Joshua ignored it and decided to forego his purse just to knock Jake Paul out. It is truly, truly astonishing what people can make up,” Bidarian said.

Jake Paul (12-2, 7 KOs) was knocked out by Anthony Joshua (29-4, 26 KOs) in the 6th round of their matchup. Subsequently, the American underwent surgery on his jaw, which was broken in two places.
