Influencer and heavyweight boxer Jake Paul has commented on WBC lightweight champion Caroline Dubois signing with his promotional company Most Valuable Promotions, which Paul co-founded and which is now a dominant force in women’s boxing.
The day before, an “important announcement” was teased, and some fans took it as a sign that Paul’s fight with former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua might be cancelled. In reality, the news was about MVP starting to work with Dubois.
“All I want is a fair fight. To even the playing field.
Joshua brought in Usyk. It’s only logical that I brought in Dubois. That’s how it had to be.
You idiots really thought I was about to pull out of the fight with Joshua? Absurd. I’m just building. Five years in the game. Stacking a roster of the best. Welcome to MVP, Miss Dubois,” Paul wrote.
Caroline Dubois (11–0–1, 5 KOs) will make her MVP debut on 19 December in Miami, USA, against 34-year-old Italian Camilla Panatta (8–2–1, 1 KO).
On the same card, Jake Paul (12–1, 7 KOs) will face Anthony Joshua (28–4, 25 KOs).
