"Not Now": Jake Paul's Manager on Fight with Daniel Dubois

Jake Paul’s manager, Nakisa Bidarian, has addressed the possibility of a fight between the influencer-turned-boxer (11-1, 7 KOs) and IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 20 KOs).

According to Bidarian, they are not currently interested in the matchup, as Jake is focused on returning to the cruiserweight division (up to 90.7 kg) and aiming to capture a world title.

Jake told me, ‘I want to take this fight, but not now. I want to do it later.’ His goal is to become a world champion in cruiserweight.

It’s not about the money. He’s been making great money since he was 18. It’s about doing things that make you say, ‘Wow, this actually happened.’ That’s what excites us,” Bidarian shared with Sky Sports.

To recap, on November 15, Jake Paul defeated Mike Tyson via unanimous decision. The 58-year-old Tyson returned to the ring for the first time since June 2005 in an official bout. The fight consisted of 8 two-minute rounds, with the result added to both fighters’ records.

According to Netflix, the fight was watched live by 60 million households worldwide, peaking at 65 million viewers. This figure is one of the highest in 2024.
