Jaime Munguia Plans Fourth Fight in 2024

According to ESPN, WBC Silver super middleweight titleholder (up to 76.2 kg), Mexican boxer Jaime Munguia (44-1, 35 KOs), is planning to have his fourth fight of 2024.

Munguia has expressed interest in facing former super middleweight title challenger, Romanian boxer Ronald Gavril (25-3, 20 KOs).

The bout is scheduled for December 14 at the Caliente Stadium in Tijuana, Mexico.

So far this year, Jaime Munguia has fought three times: in January, he stopped John Ryder (32-7, 18 KOs) via technical knockout in the 9th round; in May, he lost by unanimous decision to the unified super middleweight champion Saúl Álvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs); and on September 20, he knocked out Erik Bazinyan (32-1-1, 23 KOs) in the 10th round.
