Official: Jai Opetaia’s Next Fight Set for January 8

The next bout of IBF cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia (25-0, 19 KOs) has been officially announced. The 29-year-old Australian will face 39-year-old undefeated German mandatory challenger Huseyin Cinkara (22-0, 18 KOs).

The fight is scheduled for January 8 in Australia.

In his previous bout, Opetaia stopped Jack Massey in the sixth round. Meanwhile, Cinkara scored a second-round knockout victory over Armend Xhoxhaj.
