British Heavyweight Moses Itauma has explained why he will be supporting Jake Paul in the upcoming bout against Anthony Joshua, which takes place on December 19 in Miami, USA.

“The money flying around allows people like him to get in the ring with a two-time Heavyweight world champion. There’s an element of showing off to it. Listen, I don’t hate any man who’s trying to succeed. Jake Paul has achieved incredible things — he conquered YouTube, and now he’s trying to conquer boxing, although I don’t think it will be as easy as he imagines.

He deserves respect. I will support him because I like seeing a man chase success. Even though I don’t want him to beat Anthony Joshua, I’ll support Jake because of his success story,” Itauma said.

Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) will enter the ring for the first time since 2024, when he was knocked out by Daniel Dubois.

Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) will be fighting for the second time this year — in his previous bout, he defeated Julio César Chávez Jr.
