British heavyweight Moses Itauma has revealed who he would like to face if he defeats Dillian Whyte in his upcoming fight.
"I respect all my opponents equally. But perhaps Hrgović a bit more, because he has proven time and again that he has heart and character. If I beat Whyte, the fight that would make the most sense is with Hrgović, especially since there have already been certain disagreements between us.
That said, the final decision will be up to my promoter and manager. But if it were entirely up to me, I would choose a fight with Hrgović," Itauma said.
On August 16, Itauma (12-0, 10 KOs) will face Dillian Whyte. More on that fight – here.
Meanwhile, Hrgović (18-1, 14 KOs) is set to meet David Adeleye. More on that bout – here.
Previously, Moses’ promoter Frank Warren stated that if Joseph Parker does not face Oleksandr Usyk, he would likely fight the winner of Itauma vs. Whyte.
