Itauma’s Next Fight: Date and Venue Confirmed

Frank Warren, founder and head of Queensberry Promotions and promoter of British Heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma, confirmed in an interview with BoxNation the date and location of his fighter’s next bout.

– Your son George told me a big fight for Moses is planned for December 13 in Manchester.

– Yes, it will be a grand show just before Christmas.

– I saw he’s already ranked No. 1 with the WBA.

– Yes, he’s now high in the rankings of several organizations.

– So the next fight should be at world level?

– Of course, it will be someone from the top 10.

On August 16, 20-year-old Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) scored a first-round TKO over Dillian Whyte.

Later, Itauma rose to the top of the updated WBA Heavyweight rankings. Above him sit Fabio Wardley with the interim title and Kubrat Pulev with the regular belt. The WBA Super Champion in the division is Oleksandr Usyk, who holds all the other major titles.
