Itauma Names the Boxer Who Could Give Him His Toughest Fight

Moses Itauma / British Boxing News

British heavyweight Moses Itauma discussed his expectations for the upcoming clash against American Jermaine Franklin.

“I truly believe this could be my toughest fight. The reason is that in the aspects where he is really strong, there are still questions regarding me.

Whereas with Dillian Whyte, there are many aspects of his game that can be exploited. And Dempsey McKean, to be honest, even though he went 12 rounds with Filip Hrgovic, personally, I don’t think he was that good.

I really feel that Franklin is a solid boxer, so I am ready for him,” Itauma said.

Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) and Franklin (24-2, 15 KOs) will meet on January 24 in Manchester. In their previous bouts, Moses knocked out Dillian Whyte, while Jermaine defeated Ivan Dychko by judges' decision.
