“It seems like Benavides will soon move to the heavyweight division." Andrade on his upcoming opponent

Mexican boxer's David Benavides (27-0, 23 KOs) American opponent, Demetrius Andrade (32-0, 19 KOs), discussed their upcoming fight scheduled for November 25 and the physical attributes of his opponent:

"I never thought I would be fighting Benavides. I remember watching his fights and thinking, 'It would be a good match against this guy.' You could say he's a big fighter. The difference in height isn't that significant, but the dimensions of his body stand out. It seems like in the near future, he'll move up to the heavyweight division. I don't know how long he can remain in the super middleweight class.

"But we just agreed to the fight. I don't have time to play games. You either want to fight or you don't.

"Do you want to fight Benavides?" I said, "Yes, no problem." They asked, "David, do you want to fight Andrade?" He said, "No problem, let's do it." And here we are," Andrade said for Fight Hub TV.

The Benavides vs. Andrade fight will take place on November 25 and will be one of the last fights broadcast on Showtime Boxing.

In his most recent fight on March 25, 2023, David Benavides defeated Caleb Plant by judges' decision. Demetrius Andrade's last fight was on January 7, 2023, when he won via decision against Damon Nicholson.
