Insider: Usyk's IBF Title to Be Declared Vacant

According to American insider Michael Benson, Ukrainian undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk will be stripped of his IBF world title within the next two weeks.

The reason for this is the obligation to conduct a rematch against British boxer Tyson Fury. According to the IBF regulations, the Federation does not support such clauses in fight contracts.

It is expected that the IBF title will be on the line in a bout between mandatory challenger Filip Hrgović and Daniel Dubois. They are set to meet on June 1.

Following this, Anthony Joshua, the next-ranked IBF boxer after Hrgović, may challenge the winner.
