Inoue vs. Nery Fight Broadcast

On Monday, May 6th, the first defense of the undisputed super bantamweight title (55.3 kg) will take place between Japan's Naoya Inoue (26-0, 23 KOs) and Mexico's Luis Nery (35-1, 27 KOs).

Inoue became a two-time undisputed champion in 2023. Moving up from the bantamweight division, Naoya fought two bouts - winning the WBC and WBO titles against Stephen Fulton and adding the WBA and IBF titles against Marlon Tapales.

Nery last lost in 2021 in a fight against Brandon Figueroa. Since then, the Mexican has fought four bouts and won three of them by knockout.

The fight will be broadcast on ESPN.
