Inoue Unveils Ambitious Plans for the Year Ahead

Having just claimed victory against Stephen Fulton, Inoue, the WBC and WBO bantamweight champion, has shared his ambitious plans for the year. His goal? To become the undisputed champion of the division by challenging WBA and IBF title holder, Marlon Tapales.

"I wish to unify all the four world title belts within this year," said Inoue, as quoted by The Ring. "It may take three years to have myself physically adjust to the 122-pound weight class, and then I may move up to the featherweight division. After taking a rest for a week, I wish to return to gym work."

In his most recent bout, Naoya Inoue triumphed over Stephen Fulton, winning by a technical knockout in the eighth round and securing the WBC and WBO titles.
