Undisputed super bantamweight world champion Naoya Inoue has spoken about the reality of a potential showdown against Junto Nakatani.
“We talked about it—we both won today, so why wouldn't we fight each other?
I am very interested in a fight with Nakatani; to be honest, I am asking for it myself. We chatted for a bit, and they turned it into a big story. Although, it was only a short conversation,” Inoue said.
Inoue (32-0, 27 KOs) defeated David Picasso during the event in Riyadh, while Nakatani (32-0, 24 KOs) outboxed Sebastian Reyes on the same card.
