Inoue vs. Akhmadaliev: Insider Reveals the Date

Insider Salvador Rodriguez has reported the date for the showdown between Naoya Inoue (30-0, 27 KOs), the undisputed Super-Bantamweight champion, and Uzbekistan’s interim WBA Super-Bantamweight titleholder Murodjon Akhmadaliev (14-1, 11 KOs).

The bout is set for 14 September in Nagoya, Japan.

In May 2025 Akhmadaliev defeated Mexican Luis Castillo, while that same month Inoue retained his belts against Ramón Cardenas.
