Joshua Throws Support to Usyk in Fury Battle: "He's My Guy!"
Former heavyweight world champ, Britain's Anthony Joshua, has thrown his support behind Oleksandr Usyk for the upcoming bout against Tyson Fury.
"I'm on Usyk's side. Fury's thrown some low blows my way in words. I can't side with someone who disses me. That'd be off the wall, and I'm all about keeping my cool. I'm backing the guy who's shown me respect," Joshua declared.
Joshua and Usyk have duked it out twice - in 2021 and 2022, with Usyk clinching victories by judges' decision. Anthony's next rumble is slated for December 23 in Saudi Arabia. And on February 17, in the same ring, Usyk and Fury will battle for the heavyweight division's absolute champion title, a crown last contested back in 1999.
