Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, champion in the WBA, WBO, IBO, and IBF super heavyweight divisions (21-0, 14 KOs), revealed when he would be ready for his next fight:
"I'm ready. After the fight with Dubois, I took a week off, spent time with my children, and then I went home to Kyiv to be with my wife. And just seven days after the fight, I started training again.
“Right now, I'm fully in training, the only I interruption was coming here. I'm ready to box on December 23rd with anyone, but it has to be Tyson Fury," Usyk said in an interview with Boxing King Media.
Usyk arrived in Saudi Arabia, where he met with Tyson Fury. On October 28th, Fury will face Francis Ngannou. It's likely that after this, the official date of the Usyk-Fury fight will be announced.
