British boxer Derek Chisora (34-13, 23 KOs) has revealed who he wants to face in his next match:
"Zhang, make it happen. I'll knock him out cold," declared Derek.
39-year-old Chisora has had six fights since 2020, winning only two of them, defeating Kubrat Pulev by decision in 2022 and Gerald Washington in 2023. His latest fight was a tough one, but he has since assured boxing fans that he would step into the ring three more times before retiring for good.
The 40-year-old "interim" WBO world champion from China, Zhang Zhilei (26-1-1, 21 KOs), has expressed interest only in big fights. According to the Chinese boxer's manager, before Usyk and Fury signed contracts, Zhang's main goals were the champions themselves. Now, among Zhang's potential opponents, Anthony Joshua was mentioned, who is looking for an opponent for a winter showdown.
