UFC Champion Topuria Says He Would “Put Crawford to Sleep with the First Contact”

UFC Lightweight champion Ilia Topuria of Spain believes he could knock out two-time undisputed boxing champion Terence Crawford — and quickly.

«I’m not going to talk about what would happen between me and Crawford in the Octagon, I’ll tell you what would happen in the ring. I’d put him to sleep with the very first contact», said Topuria.

The Spaniard posted this tweet after meeting Terence Crawford at the UFC training center.

Ilia Topuria (17-0) has repeatedly stated that he is ready to step into a boxing match. Among the possible opponents mentioned was Gervonta Davis.

Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) is set to face Saul Alvarez on September 13 in Las Vegas, USA.
