IBF Sanctions Paro–Delgado Showdown

The International Boxing Federation has green-lit a bout between Australian southpaw Liam Paro (26-1, 16 KO) and unbeaten Mexican puncher Lindolfo Delgado (23-0, 16 KO).

The victor will become the mandatory challenger for Hitchins’ IBF Super Lightweight title. Paro dropped that same belt opportunity in December 2024, losing a razor-thin split decision to the American.

With the stakes reset, both fighters now have a straight path back to the summit—one that runs directly through each other.
